Greg DeYonker, Principal & CEO
Greg has been with Forte for over 16 years and brings more than 35 years of experience in business advisory services, managing international operations, joint venture management, global sales, and mergers and acquisitions. He played a key role in securing financing for the acquisition of a major training and security services firm, as well as several follow-up acquisitions. This work led to over $1 billion in financing and significant global operational growth.
Prior to joining Forte, Greg was Vice President at Lear Corporation. He led global sales for a $4 billion automotive OEM division and managed a $875 million division with operations in ten countries. Greg also lived in Tokyo, Japan, where he managed a joint venture with Mitsubishi.
A U.S. Air Force veteran, Greg served for eight years as a Captain and was Chief Electronic Warfare Officer for the Air Force Special Operations Command.
Greg holds a Bachelor of Arts with Honors in Finance (with a focus on Economics) from Michigan State University and a Master of Science in Business Management from Troy State University.
Jake DeYonker, Manager
Before joining Forte in 2019, Jake was a financial management consultant and auditor at Grant Thornton LLP. During his tenure, Jake worked on audits and annual filings for a diverse pool of clients, ranging from startups and small privately held businesses to large publicly traded companies valued over $1 billion. He spent more than three years at Grant Thornton, gaining valuable experience in public accounting and financial advisory across industries such as manufacturing, food packaging, insurance, non-profit organizations, healthcare, and technology.
Jake also served as the lead associate in implementing new Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) for one of Pennsylvania’s leading healthcare providers. This project resulted in the reclassification of millions of dollars in assets held or leased by the company.
Jake is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from Michigan State University, along with a Master of Accounting degree from Oakland University.
